Travel advice and vaccinations before you go.
Our travel clinic is for anyone planning a trip abroad who wants advice and vaccinations before they go. Whether you are going on holiday, visiting family, travelling for work or on a longer journey, we can talk through what you may need for the countries on your itinerary.
What happens at your appointment
We start with a short, private consultation. We will ask about where you are going, how long you are staying, what you plan to do while you are there, and your medical history and past vaccinations.
From there we explain what is recommended for your trip, and you can have any vaccinations you decide to go ahead with. We also cover practical advice on staying well while you are away.
Vaccinations we offer
- Hepatitis A and hepatitis B
- Typhoid
- Tetanus, diphtheria and polio
- Cholera
- Rabies
- Japanese encephalitis
- Tick-borne encephalitis
- Meningitis ACWY
- Measles, mumps and rubella
- Yellow fever
When to come and see us
It helps to come to us as early as you can. Some vaccinations are given as a course over several weeks, and others need time to take effect before you travel. If your trip is soon, please still get in touch, as we may be able to help.
To arrange an appointment, call in to the pharmacy or give our team a ring.
