COVID-19 vaccination is available at Wargrave Pharmacy on the NHS for people who are eligible, and privately for anyone who would like protection. Our pharmacists give the vaccine here in the pharmacy, with no need to see your GP first.
Who it is for
The NHS offers the vaccine to people in eligible groups each season, including older adults, people with certain health conditions and carers. If you are not eligible on the NHS you can still have it privately. Not sure which applies to you? Ask us.
What happens at your appointment
We start with a short, private chat about your health, any medicines you take and any allergies, so we can check the service is right for you.
The vaccine is given as an injection in the upper arm and takes a moment. We will ask you to stay with us for a short while afterwards and explain what to expect.
